Artist Statement

I am a colorist. Line and drawing elements are present. My pieces are rhythmic. I favor the pallet knife and often mix primary colors keeping a limited palette.  The elements of geometry in nasturtiums shape and form are of interest to me. I also paint landscapes.

Artist Bio

Lynn Brown is a visual artist working two-dimensionally. She received formal art training at the University of Minnesota, earning a B.F.A. Lynn works in oil, water media and pastel. Her work has been shown regionally and is held in both private and public collections in the Red Wing Area and across the United States. Currently living in western Wisconsin at the headwaters of Lake Pepin with her husband Charlie. They have three grown children.
